My name is Gus Kraft, and I was born and raised in Sheridan, WY. I’m 34 years old and have been riding motorcycles since I was three when my parents gifted me an old Honda. Riding has always been a central part of my life. I used to constantly ask my dad to take me riding, and even after his long days at work, he would load up the bike, and we would ride until dark. My mom always ensured I had everything I needed to stay safe and ride to my full potential. When it was time for a new bike, she always found a way to make it happen. My parents have played a major role in fueling my passion for motorcycles. They both ride, but I especially have my dad to thank for introducing me to the world of bikes and teaching me how they work inside and out.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was always a family event for us. One of my earliest memories is falling asleep in my tent to the steady rumble of bikes speeding down the highway. It’s a tradition I still look forward to every year! Life changed forever when I got my first Harley at 14.
Now, I ride every chance I get. I especially love going on road trips with my wife, exploring the country together on two wheels. On our most recent trip, we completed the Iron Butt Challenge, riding over a thousand miles in under 24 hours. Some of the best moments of my life have been spent riding my bikes.
I also have two daughters, Emery and Stori, who share my love for riding. I can’t wait to pass along this passion to them and create lifelong memories on the road.
